Though the Devil is strong it is ours in God's strength, and by the power of the Word, to withstand him. 1 John 2:14 I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. Torrey: p532, T:I, P:4 Ephesians 6:11 [11] Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. The full armor is described in the following: Ephesians 6:14-18 [14] Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, [15] and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. [16] In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. [17] Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. [18] And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. 1 John 5:18 We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him. Colossians 1:13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, [14] in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Christ guards and delivers God's children from the Devil's power. John 10:28-29 [28] I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. [29] My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand.
